Beautiful houses to rent 
in Worcester 

Hello. I am fortunate to own and rent out seven properties in St. John's, Worcester, all of which have been beautifully modernised and restored during 2013-19. 

 

Each property is unique and has it's own character.

 

Some have good-sized private gardens; others have smaller, secure rear courtyards. Some have wooden sheds; others have out-houses, attic conversions or cellars.

 

In each property I have tried to think of everything a tenant might need and to provide a lovely home that I would be happy to live in myself.

St John's is a fantastic place to live, close to town but with it's own community feel. There is so much to this little suburb* that makes it one of the most popular in Worcester...and it doesn't flood up here.

Each property is rich in character, retaining many of the original features :

 

- Period skirting board, picture rail and architrave
- Original, stripped pine doors with Victorian-style black rim locks and brass beehive knobs
- New decoration using a Dulux Dove White paint  
- Feature fireplaces in many of the rooms
- Curtain poles and blinds

 

As part of the renovation process each house has :

- Full or partial rewired electrics, including new fuse-board and sockets, switches and fittings
- Rear outside tap, electrical socket & light/s
- FireAngel lifetime smoke alarms
- Carbon monoxide alarm
- PVCu double-glazed windows
- New black guttering and downpipes
- New, fitted kitchen, 1½ bowl sink, under-counter electric oven and steel chimney extractor fan
- White bathroom suite with mirror and light, shaver point and thermostatic mains-pressure shower
- Energy-efficient combination boiler and thermostatic radiator valves
- Fully insulated and boarded attic space with light
- New TV aerial (tho’ some tenants have installed their own Sky system)
- Annual GAS SAFE certification on appliances
